Dr. Jones' chosen profession for the last 14 years has been within education and specifically higher education and student affairs. He has worked as a student leader, advisor, counselor, director, and academic dean. He has successfully guided many students to their chosen careers and helped them to define their academic, personal, and professional goals, developed initiatives, events, and offices, and led campus-wide and system-wide projects and activities. Dr. Jones has also devoted many years to leadership within the field and has many in-progress publications on the way!

Speaker Services
Dr. Jones has been known to present at regional and national conferences on a variety of topics and provide keynote addresses at events like End of the year celebrations, graduations, conferences, and holiday events (ex. MLK, Juneteenth, Black History Month, etc.).
Student Workshops
Dr. Jones was a student leader at both the undergraduate and graduate student level as a participant in ethnic organizations, a fraternity, and student government. Later, he advised similar organizations and led student staff teams as large as 60. He can help address most student issues or provide leadership trainings for any of your student leaders or sessions that encourage their pursuit of their academic and career goals.
Staff Trainings
Dr. Jones has managed staff and faculty teams as well as served as an advocate for a campus staff and system-wide staff. He can provide a number of sessions that help to avoid burnout, set goals, time management, seek further educational opportunities, understand diversity, equity, and inclusion and how to implement in the workplace, and build skills for future leadership capacity.
Leadership Consulting
Dr. Jones has interfaced with leaders of many levels since he was an undergraduate student sitting on a system-wide committee. From there he has activated his Clifton Strengths Finder strengths in Connectedness, Context, and Harmony to be a strategic, compassion, collaborative leader and wants to share that with other leaders to address the challenges of 21st century, post-pandemic, politically contentious society.
